From the green hills of Irpinia to the green hills of Ireland.
I am Giusy, short for Giuseppina. I grew up in Avellino, in the Campania region of southern Italy, one hour from Naples, in hills so intensely green the region is called La Verde Irpinia. Twenty years ago I moved to Ireland, and much felt familiar: the green, the warmth of the welcome, the love of a long table, a good story, and an evening that refuses to end.
I have been teaching, training, and coaching people for over fifteen years, and I teach Italian the way I learnt everything that mattered to me: through story, through culture, through genuine conversation, and without rushing. Because a language is never just grammar. It is what it reveals about the people who speak it, and who you become when you speak it too.
